Yes, I did it again! I spent another day out with Thomas the Tank my favorite engine at the Strasburg Railroad! This time my three year old brother, Ethan, had just as much fun as me!
I think that the movie, "Thomas and the Magic Railroad" has made Thomas the Tank even more popular then he already was! This visit with Thomas, took the prize for being the most crowded! I enjoyed meeting Thomas the Tank fans of all ages and from many different parts of the country!
I think I heard Thomas whisper something to me when I sat up right next to him!
There were lots of fun things to do on this "Day out with Thomas" event! Our "ticket" allowed us to ride Thomas as many times as we wanted all day. We rode him two times! Other things our enjoyed that day were a miniature steam train ride, a coach car ride (the Railroad just spent 1/2 million fixing up this coach car and it was beautiful!), a HUGE bouncy slide, face painting, clowns, a castle bounce, and a ball pit.
I had Thomas the Tank painted on my face. My little brother Ethan wanted Thomas painted on his hand so he could look at him!
We even had a visit from Sir Topham Hatt! He thought that Thomas was being a really useful engine!
Even though I am now six years old and some people say that I am going to outgrow Thomas one day soon, I know that Thomas will always have a special place in my heart!
